Wil Myers hits for cycle vs Rockies 041017

Wil Myers of the San Diego Padres hit for the cycle in a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on April, 10, 2017. For the game he was 4 for 4 with 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 2 RBI and 2 R while batting third and playing first base. He hit the single in the first inning, the double in the third, home run in the sixth and tripled to secure the most difficult piece in the eighth. It was just the second cycle in Padres' history. This season he is hitting 13 for 34, .382/.382/.794 with 3 HR, 7 RBI, 8 R, 0 SB in 8 games. Over five MLB seasons with the Padres and Rays he has hit .260/.332/.437 with 58 HR, 218 RBI, 234 R, 44 SB in 400 games. He was originally drafted by the Royals in the third round in 2009, traded to the Rays in 2012 and traded to the Padres in 2015. Myers turned 26 on December 10.
