Eury Perez traded to Marlins

Eury Perez was traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Miami Marlins on August 3, 2017 for cash. The outfielder had hit 45 for 134, .336/.400/.433 with 1 HR, 12 RBI, 26 R, 22 SB in 50 games at Triple A Indianapolis in 2017. Over four MLB seasons with the Braves, Yankees and Nationals he hit .254/.307/.282 with 0 HR, 5 RBI, 16 R, 8 SB in 73 games. He originally signed with the Nationals in 2007 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Perez turned 27 on May 30.
